Charleston is the second-largest city in South Carolina and one of the oldest cities in the United States. Founded in 1670, this port city is a living history museum whose historic buildings have survived the Revolutionary War and Civil War, as well as earthquakes and hurricanes. Nowadays it is a major tourist destination, known for its fine dining options and Spoleto arts festival.
Charleston is also home to The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina, which is Chappell, Smith & Arden partner Beau Busch’s alma mater, as well as the Charleston School of Law, alma mater of CSA attorney Jacob Born.
